Nodes are glittering eruptions from the earth onto which mines can be placed. There are regular nodes and super-nodes. Super-nodes produce more valuable ore. You can also increase the value of the ore you extract by placing an upgraded Mine on the node. The combinations of Mine and Node produce 3 different values of ore.
