Multiplayer mode features Public Matches and Private Matches both of which require connecting online. 

In Public Matches, you can select Quick Join Online to be randomly matched with another player, or Create Online Game to set up the match before another player joins.

All modes feature 1 on 1, 1 on 1 with Weapons Allowed, Tag Team, and Tag Team with Weapons Allowed.
