Boggle Party can be played by 1 to 8 players, and at least one of them will need an active Netflix subscription to launch the game either through Netflix.com on PC or via the Netflix app on many TVs. Each participant needs an Android or Apple phone or tablet, which will serve as a game controller. Other controllers aren’t supported at this time. If it’s your first time playing games on TV, you may be prompted to install the Netflix mobile app for Android or the Netflix Game Controller app for iOS.

To start the game, select Games from the main Netflix menu on your PC or TV (If you cannot find Games on Netflix, it's possible that your device is not supported. You can check more on the supported devices here  - “Required setup“), find and select Boggle Party, then choose Play Game to display a QR code on the screen. Players joining the game should scan the QR code with their phone or tablet camera to pair their devices. After scanning, you will be prompted to create a new player profile or, if you’ve played before on this Netflix account and profile, you can rejoin with an existing one. The first player to join will become the host by default. You can switch between disconnected profiles anytime by tapping the ☰ menu icon on your controller and selecting Switch Profiles.

Once all players have connected and selected their profiles, the host selects the gameplay settings and starts the round. Players can then search for words on their mobile devices and see the scoring play out on the main screen. If you join after a round has already started, you will be able to participate in the next round.
