A crown beside your name means that you were the first person to scan into the game lobby, and are now the host. The host is in charge of beginning the game once all players have joined, and has the ability to end discussion phases early if a discussion concludes with time still left on the clock.

If the host disconnects from the lobby, the person who joined after them will be promoted to host.
