Another effect of the Time Warp Tetrimino exclusive to Multiplayer Mode is the Shield. If you lock down the Time Warp Tetrimino that has shield icons in it, you will earn a Shield power-up, which will be displayed near the lower portion of your Matrix. The Shield works automatically and disappears after a single use.
