Goalkeeping attributes comprises of the following:
- Dive: Measures goal keeper’s ability to reach and save shots away from their body (low corners, high stretch save)
- Reflexes: Governs goal keeper’s reaction speed to close range or unexpected shots. The reflex rating reduces the delay between shot detection and dive animation start. High reflex goalkeeper selects “faster” dive/block animations (quicker blend times)
- Sweeping: Determines how intelligently the goalkeeper places themselves before the shot, affecting shot difficulty. Positioning improves accuracy of predicted shot direction (based on shooter’s position and ball velocity) with angle weighting to bias their movement to cover near-post.
- Hands: Hands measures how securely a goalkeeper can catch, hold, and control the ball after contact instead of ricochet back into play. Handling influences whether the GK attempts a catch or deflection.
- Distribution: Distance and accuracy of goal kicks and punts.
