When you play through Portal, you collect Artifacts as you advance through the mode. These artifacts can give certain effects, which can be anything from healing characters to activating certain dice in the beginning of a battle. You'll collect an artifact after each successful battle, making your team stronger and more equipped for the next round of enemies!

Remember that these artifacts are only available in Portal, and can't be used in other game modes.
