There are a few things you can do to continue playing the game if you experience this:

- Quit the game completely and restart from your existing save file.
- Try to not interrupt Evelyn at key moments. 
- Don’t spam or repeatedly hit the button for the walkie talkie, particularly during dialogue or when interacting with objects.
- Play in smaller sessions. Quit and restart the game every 2-3 hours.
- Check the minimum system requirements for the game.
